Siberian huskies are often very gentle, playful and genial, and they get attached to their families quite easily, as well. They're particularly energetic as puppies, though, and they like to play with both children and strangers, therefore making them bad candidates for watchdogs. Huskies don’t actually bark a great deal either; but they do have a tendency to howl.
When it comes to dog training, huskies are very easy to deal with and they're very smart, too. They are not too aggressive or possessive when other dogs are around, either, and they may simply follow commands and are intractable. Lots of dog owners have a tendency to have trouble housebreaking huskies, though, so you could need some pro help with this now and then.
Huskies often do not like being left alone for too long, either, and they have a tendency to become bored quite easily, so take care you have plenty of physical practices and psychological exercises prepared for them since they'd get damaging without them. Naturally, you'll have to make sure you watch them at all points, as well; otherwise, they might just run off since they like to ramble and run around. Older Siberian huskies are usually more reserved and dignified, though, making them great workers and companions.
Another thing you need to know is that most huskies need exposure to other categories of dogs early on in order for them to get along. The better news is they are simple to keep and don't need as much dog food as other dogs do. But they do need lots of time and energy invested into them, so they can reach their ultimate potential in both beauty and intelligence. Huskies are often understood to be happy-go-lucky dogs, also , but they do get even more docile and keen as more time goes by.
