One of the first things that people think about when they get a puppy is toilet training.  How can I do it, how long is it going to take and will I really be able to do it?These things are important to consider.  Puppies toilet training is probably the first and most important thing that a puppy must learn.

Most people should be able to toilet train their puppy with a little guidance.You need to be aware that puppies are like children and before they can control their functions, they must reach a certain level of both physical and mental capacity.  Puppies less than 12 weeks old might be very difficult to toilet train and a puppy of any age is going to require a lot of patience for this training.

Puppies potty training can begin at any time but will be easier if a certain age is first reached.Younger puppies are harder to train than older puppies.It takes a lot less time to train a puppy that is six months old.  It all depends on your patience and skill.

Paper training is a good way to start.Place a newspaper in the same place all the time and teach the puppy to go on it.  After teaching the puppy to go on the paper, the next step is to teach it to go outside.Deal with accidents and just continue, this is going to happen.You must be patient, consistent and not get discouraged for puppies potty training.  Don’t lose your temper and keep at it.  When the puppy is toilet trained your life will be much easier.

Problems can develop with these behaviors and dogs have reasons for behaving in these ways.If you can learn why the dog is behaving in a certain way you might be able to remove something or change something in its environment.You need to find the reason that is causing the dog to behave in a certain way.A tired dog is a good dog.Play with your dog often and make sure it gets enough exercise.The relationship between you and your dog will be more fulfilling if you know how to deal with your dog’s problem behaviors.
